Club Sports

Briercrest College and Seminary has a rich athletic history that extends beyond participating in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC). Prior to joining the ACAC in 1996 Briercrest competed in the Prairie Athletic Conference (PAC), in sports such as basketball, hockey, soccer and volleyball.
Briercrest Athletics has a committment to providing recreation and athletic opportunities to as many students as possible. One of these ways is through Briercrest club sport teams. These club teams provide additional competitive athletic opportunities to Briercrest students.
Briercrest students participate on club teams for a variety of reasons.
Briercrest club teams have participated in PAC intermittently since joining the ACAC and in August 2014, Briercrest will be fielding a women's softball team in the Western Collegiate Softball Association (WCSA).
Being a Briercrest club student-athlete involves more than just playing your sport and going to school. Briercrest Athletics wants to make sure that every athlete who comes through this program has the skills and tools necessary to exhibit the truth of God's Word through their lives in everything they do.
We want to challenge you to use the athletic gifts God has given you to fully serve him and to develop new life skills that will enable you to follow Christ throughout your life.
