The Briercrest College junior varsity women’s basketball team hosted Millar College of the Bible Feb. 16 for Briercrest’s first PAC basketball home game in over 20 years!

Briercrest defeated Millar 48-37

Head coach Jacki Senneker summed up the game.

“We went into this game with a plan and the girls executed it very well. Despite being down a couple players the girls came out with intensity right from the start and they never let up. We were finally able to get our offensive game together and play as a unified team and it really showed. Each player contributed in different ways which was so awesome to see and I was just so proud of their efforts. Taylor Mitchell was our top scorer with 16 points and also our top rebounder with 9 rebounds. Makayla Tashiro contributed 12 points and Nicole Peterson added 11.”
