A Christmas Carol

Written during the Victorian Era, A Christmas Carol is Charles Dickens' story of a man who finds the true meaning of Christmas.

Come follow the journey of the ill-tempered and miserly Ebenezer Scrooge. Soured by life he has no place in his heart for Christmas, people or love. Shunning all acts of generosity or kindness he attempts to ignore the joys of Christmas day until he is visited by three extraordinary guests. They reveal to him the error of his ways and encourage him to mend his ways. This life changing encounter spurs Scrooge to see Christmas in a new light, a time for family, giving and loving just as Jesus was given for us.

Your heart will be warmed as you hear Tiny Tim proclaim, "God bless us everyone!"

The arrival of the Christ Child is a cause for great celebration with carols & candles, tiny tots & tinseled trees--such is the aim of the Candlelight Carols at Briercrest!

This Christmas at Briercrest you will be captivated by the warmth of traditional carols sung by the college, high school, and community choristers.  Vibrant and enthralling carol arrangements and uplifting selections from Scripture will certainly enrich your Christmas celebration for 2012 and focus your attention once again on the glory of Jesus' arrival in Bethlehem.

So bring your family and friends to be cheered in Christ, gripped by grace, and heartened by the "Hallelujah Chorus."
