Course tuition information

All prices are in Canadian funds.

Distance Education program students
(Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies, Associate of Arts in Christian Studies, Bible Certificate)

(effective September 1, 2014)
One credit hour course = $256
Three credit hour course = $768 ($256/credit hour)
* DE program students taking on-campus courses pay the college rate of $918.

College courses (non-program students)
(effective September 1, 2014)
Three credit hour course = $918 ($306/credit hour)

Bible Exploration Series
Fifty per cent off college rate; fifth course free

Seminary courses

Three credit hour course = $1,080 ($360/credit hour)

Payment for courses may be made by personal cheque, money order, credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or cash.

Payment plan options

Deferred payment plan
A $16 processing fee will be applied to the student account in lieu of interest.

College course payments:

  • first payment: $250
  • three payments of $228 (total of $934)

Seminary course payments:

  • first payment: $274
  • three payments of $274 (total of $1,096)

DE program college course payments:

  • first payment: $250
  • three payments of $178 (total of $784)

Other financial considerations

American financial aid: American students, please note Distance Education courses are not eligible for Direct Loan (government student loan). If you are a US student and would like to speak with a financial adviser to make personal payment plan arrangements, please call 1-800-645-2275.

Tax deductible receipt: Tuition receipts for income tax purposes will be available through Briercrest Live at the end of the year. 

Course Withdrawal: Students choosing to withdraw from a course are required to contact the distance education office. The following policies will apply:

Within 10 days from the date of registration, 100% of course tuition will be refunded.

10 to 30 days from the date of registration,75% of tuition will be refunded. A withdraw will apply to the student's transcript.

30 to 60 days from the date of registration, 50% of tuition will be refunded. A withdraw will apply to the student's transcript.

More than two months from the date of registration, a student withdrawing from a course is not eligible for a refund, and a withdraw-fail will apply to the student's transcript.
