This electronic resource includes about 4,500 full-text, cross-searchable books in the humanities selected by scholars for their continuing importance for research and teaching, with a particular focus on history titles.

ATLA Religion Database with Serials indexes articles and essays in religious, biblical, and theological studies.

Business Index ASAP

Business Index ASAP is a collection of academic journals and business magazines that examines management theory, economics, and business practice.

Business Insights: Essentials

Business Insights provides company profiles, investment reports, financial overviews, performance rankings, SWOT assessments, and various other information for thousands of companies worldwide.

Canadian Business and Current Affairs (with Canadian Newsstand)

CBCA provides several databases with Canadian content. The business database indexes 440 business and industry periodicals, the reference database indexes over 760 periodicals, the education database indexes 195 periodicals, while the Current Affairs database indexes 50 newsmagazines, newspapers, and news programs . Many of the indexed publications are available in full text through the database.

Canadian Research Index

Canadian Research Index provides citations and abstracts for federal, provincial, and municipal government documents, documents issued by Canadian government agencies and departments, scientific and technical report literature issued by research institutes and government laboratories, and policy, social, economic, and political reports.

Canadian Newsstand (with CBCA)

Canadian Newsstand Major Daillies provides fulltext online access to major Canadian newspapers. Canadian Newsstand Prairies provides full-text online access to many prairie newspapers.

Canadian Periodical Index

This database focuses on Canadian journals and magazines, providing full text content for over 250 periodical titles.

Christian Periodical Index

This index provides citations from magazines and journals focused on church ministry and theology, many published by denominations or Christian ministry organizations. The Archibald Library has print subscriptions to many of the periodical indexed in CPI.

Discovering Collection

This database is designed specifically for high school students. It features over 15, 750 biographies, 16,000 essays, 21,000 timeline events, 500 primary source documents, and 15, 000 images, maps and flags.

Early Canadiana Online

This digital repository is an excellent place to find primary sources related to all aspects of Canadian history.

Encyclopaedia Britannica

The online version of the Encyclopaedia Britannica also includes: Britannica Student Encyclopedia, Britannica Elementary Encyclopedia, Britannica Concise Encyclopedia, and the Britannica Internet Guide.

Expanded Academic ASAP

Expanded Academic is a multi-disciplinary database of journal articles, with over 2,000 journals not represented in other library databases.

E-books on EbscoHost (formerly NetLibrary)

This collection contains over 150,000 full-length e-books in virtually every academic discipline. The database allows for searching within the text of the books as well as title and subject searching.

General Reference Center Gold provides access to the full text of many popular general interest magazines, such as Time, Newsweek, Popular Science, and many others. It is an excellent starting point for finding information on current events and happenings around the world.

Health and Wellness Resource Center

The Health and Wellness Resource Center contains magazines, professional publications and reference material on a wide range of health topics and specific diseases and conditions. InfoTrac Onefile is a one-stop database that provides indexing and content for a wide variety of subjects, including the humanities, social sciences, health, science, business, and general interest topics.

IPA Source

This tool provides international phonetic alphabet pronunciation for hundred of songs, particularly opera and classical, as well as translations into English.

JSTOR (Arts & Science I, II, III, & V)

JSTOR provides access to back issues of important journals in the arts and sciences. The library currently has access to four of their arts and science collections. Subject areas covered include: humanities, social sciences, business, music, and language.
