Academic Search Complete
Academic Search Complete is the world's most comprehensive
scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than
6,100 full-text periodicals. In addition to full text, this
database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,000
journals and a total of more than 10,600 publications including
monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. This is the best
database to use when researching in the social sciences. It also
has excellent content in the humanities, business, language,

ACLS Humanities E-Book
This electronic resource includes over 3,300 full-text,
cross-searchable books in the humanities selected by scholars for
their continuing importance for research and teaching. Areas
include: African, American, Asian, Latin American, European
(Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, and Modern), Middle Eastern,
World/Comparative, Byzantine/Mediterranean and
Australasian/Oceanian history, plus history of the Native Peoples

ATLA Religion Database with Serials
ATLA Religion Database with Serials indexes articles and essays in religious, biblical, and theological studies. It mostly provides citations only, but some articles are available in full-text. Biblical Archaeology Society
Online Archive
The online archive of the Biblical Archaeology Society contains
the back issues of the publications of the Biblical Archaeology
Society (Archaeology Odyssey, Biblical Archaeology Review, and
Bible Review), as well as five books published by the society. The
archive also contains over 14,000 biblical images. If you are
accessing this service from outside the school network you will
need a username and password to access the database. Drop by the

Index provides citations and abstracts for federal, provincial, and

CBCA (Canadian Business and Current
Affairs)
CBCA provides several
databases with Canadian content. The business database indexes 440
business and industry periodicals, the reference database indexes
over 760 periodicals, the education database indexes 195
periodicals, while the Current Affairs database indexes 50
newsmagazines, newspapers, and news programs. Many of the articles

ERIC (Educational Resources Information
Center)
The Educational Resources
Information Center (ERIC) is a database that provides ready access
to an extensive body of education-related literature. ERIC is the
largest education database in the world-containing more than 1.1
million records of journal articles, research reports, curriculum
and teaching guides, conference papers, and books. The database is
freely searchable online, with many newer documents available in
full-text directly off the database. The Archibald Library holds

IPA Source is the web's largest library of International
Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcriptions and literal translations of
opera arias and art song texts.
JSTOR (Arts & Science I, II, III, &

JSOTR provides access to back issues of important journals in the
arts and sciences. The library currently has access to four of
their arts and science collections. Subject areas covered include:

Network)
The Theological Research Exchange Network (TREN) allows you to
search for theses and dissertations from participating seminaries
and theological colleges in North America. The Archibald Library
currently holds most TREN theses and dissertations on microfiche.
