Academic Search Complete
Academic Search Complete is the world's most comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 6,100 full-text periodicals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,000 journals and a total of more than 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. This is the best database to use when researching in the social sciences. ACLS Humanities E-Book
This electronic resource includes over 3,300 full-text, cross-searchable books in the humanities selected by scholars for their continuing importance for research and teaching. Areas include: African, American, Asian, Latin American, European (Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, and Modern), Middle Eastern, World/Comparative, Byzantine/Mediterranean and Australasian/Oceanian history, plus history of the Native Peoples of the Americas and of Science and Technology. ATLA Religion Database with Serials

ATLA Religion Database with Serials indexes articles and essays in religious, biblical, and theological studies. It mostly provides citations only, but some articles are available in full-text. Biblical Archaeology Society Online Archive
The online archive of the Biblical Archaeology Society contains the back issues of the publications of the Biblical Archaeology Society (Archaeology Odyssey, Biblical Archaeology Review, and Bible Review), as well as five books published by the society. The archive also contains over 14,000 biblical images. If you are accessing this service from outside the school network you will need a username and password to access the database. Canadian Research Index provides citations and abstracts for federal, provincial, and municipal government documents, documents issued by Canadian government agencies and departments, scientific and technical report literature issued by research institutes and government laboratories, and policy, social, economic, and political reports. CBCA (Canadian Business and Current Affairs)
CBCA provides several databases with Canadian content. The business database indexes 440 business and industry periodicals, the reference database indexes over 760 periodicals, the education database indexes 195 periodicals, while the Current Affairs database indexes 50 newsmagazines, newspapers, and news programs. Many of the articles are available in full-text format. This database is designed specifically for high school students. ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center)
The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) is a database that provides ready access to an extensive body of education-related literature. ERIC is the largest education database in the world-containing more than 1.1 million records of journal articles, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides, conference papers, and books. The database is freely searchable online, with many newer documents available in full-text directly off the database. The Archibald Library holds ERIC documents in mircofiche up to ED 457 311. Expanded Academic ASAP
Expanded Academic ASAP is the library's largest academic research database, with over 2,000 academic journals and magazines available in full text format, some back to 1980. The database covers all academic subjects, including pyschology, sociology philosophy, history, and English, to name a few. The Theological Research Exchange Network (TREN) allows you to search for theses and dissertations from participating seminaries and theological colleges in North America.
