Professor Leadership & Management Studies

SUMMARY

Briercrest College and Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Leadership and Management commencing August 1, 2019.

The successful candidate will be committed to the development of great and godly leaders through the provision of faith-based graduate-level education. She or he will demonstrate evidence of high-level leadership experience; have a proven track record of coaching, consulting, and facilitation in a variety of contexts; and show potential for building networks among churches, as well as among profit and non-profit sectors.

The position will initially be a three-year appointment in which the successful candidate will focus on concerted engagement in the following areas:

1) development and classroom facilitation of five graduate courses/year

2) significant expansion of connections with external agencies, ministries, and other organizations

3) engagement with pre-academic lay and professional leadership development 

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the gospel and should at minimum possess a relevant doctoral degree. Specialists from all sub-fields will be considered. Questions about the nature of the post may be directed to Dr. Susan Wendel, Dean of the Seminary. (swendel@briercrest.ca)

Briercrest College and Seminary is a private post-secondary institution in the evangelical Protestant tradition that enrolls over 700 students in 18 undergraduate and graduate programs.
