The second half of the ACAC season kicks off with a bang in Caronport tonight, as three out of five Briercrest Clipper teams are at home!

There will be exciting action at the Barkman Arena and Margaret P. Reimer Gymnasium tonight and tomorrow, so come on out and cheer on your Briercrest Clippers!

Hockey
The hockey team is starting off against the top team in the ACAC, as they host the SAIT Trojans this weekend. Game times are 7:30 pm tonight and 2:00 pm on Saturday.

The Clippers are currently holding on to the seventh and final playoff spot, but are looking to gain ground on the Portage College Voyaguers who are four points ahead of them in the standings.

Volleyball
Both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams are hosting the Medicine Hat College Rattlers this weekend. Tonight’s matches start at 6 pm for the women, with the men’s game to follow at 8 pm. Tomorrow the women play at 1 pm, and the men are at 3 pm.

This is a big weekend for both teams. The Clipper men are looking to regain top spot in the ACAC, as they can pass both Red Deer College and The King’s University College with a pair of wins! The women, meanwhile, are fighting to catch Medicine Hat for a playoff spot, and can pull within two points of them by winning both matches this weekend!

Basketball
Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams have a weekend off and will start their second half at home next weekend, as they will host Concordia and Augustana.
