Briercrest women's basketball wins their first game of the ACAC season 71-67 in overtime.

Coach Chad Romanuk was very pleased with his team's determination.

"We won in overtime," Romanuk said, "Clutch freethrows by Tracy Frimpong and Brittany Larson won it in the end. Claire Richardson was player of the game with 17 pts on 50 percent shooting, seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three steals.

Meghan Meyer was 4 for 6 from three, with 16 points 4 assists 6 rebs 1 steal. Frimpong also had 14 points."
