Entering the Christmas break men's basketball and volleyball find themselves ranked fourth and 12th in CCAA National rankings.

After a hard fought weekend sweep over the 10th ranked team in the country and top three in the ACAC standings, Lethbridge College, Briercrest men’s basketball has moved up to number four in the CCAA national rankings. With a record of 9-1, Briercrest is currently sitting one point out of the CCAA second ranked Red Deer (they have the same record, but Red Deer’s loss comes in a one point game against divisional opponent, whereas Briercrest lost in a two point interdivisional game). Briercrest will open the second semester against Olds College Jan. 18-19, 2013.

After a bye week to end the fall semester, men's volleyball maintained their 12th ranking in the Dec. 4, 2012 CCAA National rankings. They enter the Christmas break sitting in third place in the ACAC with a record of 9-1 and will return to action hosting Lethbridge College Jan. 11-12, 2013.
