Though Briercrest men’s hockey head coach Dalton Stoltz did not experience the results that he was hoping for in his inaugural season at the helm, some key steps were taken for future success.
The season was highlighted by fifth-year graduating goaltender Jesse Chenard shattering both the ACAC season and career saves records with 1,129 saves during the 2012-13 season and 3,603 saves during his five-year career at Briercrest.
With a full regular-season and summer to recruit and build the culture of winning that he expects, coach Stoltz has built a foundation moving forward. With the majority of the team returning there is a great amount of potential and momentum moving forward.
