The 2014-15 Briercrest Athletics home schedule kicks off this weekend with the women's softball team playing their first home games in their history. Games will be played at Optimist Park on the 500 block of Lillooet St. in Moose Jaw.

The Briercrest men's hockey team opens up their pre-season with a pair of games this week, beginning with a game Friday, September 5 in Melville, and a home game Tuesday, August 9 against the University of Regina.

Softball

After an encouraging weekend of games in Calgary the Briercrest women's softball team returns to Caronport to host their first ever home games in Moose Jaw this Friday, Sept 5 before traveling to Regina for three more games Saturday afternoon. The game that will serve as the team's home opener will be against SAIT at 8:00 pm. Home games will be played at Optimist Park on the 500 block of Lillooet St. in Moose Jaw.

They will then travel to Regina Saturday afternoon to play the University of Calgary at 12:00 pm at Kaplan Field followed by 5:00 pm and 7:15 pm games against the University of Saskatchewan and SAIT at Douglas Park #1.

Hockey

The Briercrest men's hockey team opens up the 2014-15 season with a pair of exhibition games this week. They open their pre-season with a 7:30 pm game in Melville Friday, Sept 5 against teh SJHL's Melville Millionaires. They then return home to host the University of Regina Cougars (CIS) at 7:00 pm Tuesday, Sept 9 at the Barkman Arena. These games will be a great taste of what the 2014-15 edition of the Briercrest hockey team will look like as they tune up for another season.
