Zac Ens – 5th Year - #2 – Outside Spiker – Waldheim, SK  – General Studies

Ens returns to Briercrest rejuvenated and refreshed. After a three year hiatus from the Briercrest men’s volleyball program, Ens returns in his last year of eligibility ready to build on the continual success of the program.

Ens is not only a big body, standing at a towering 6 foot 6 inches but this student-athlete is a complete game-changer. Whether it is leading with his words, his groundbreaking kills or his hammer blocks, Ens can take a match over with both his on court talents and his leadership qualities. This poised fifth year veteran is excited to bring his passion and fight to the court this year for Briercrest once again.

During his years of playing volleyball at Briercrest, Ens has been a force. He has received numerous awards including National Championship all-star in his 3rd year following the teams third place finish at the 2011-12 National Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He continues to draw the attention of both opposing teams and home crowds with his play.

Over his years at Briercrest College, Ens has had numerous amounts of memories. His tops include the following: Winning the ACAC Conference Championships in his third year and upsetting a higher ranked team in the 2009-10 ACAC Championship.

Look for number two’s great flow on the court with the blue and yellow as he looks to help lead them to future success.
