It’s a busy weekend in Briercrest Athletics as the basketball teams host Medicine Hat for their Alumni Home Opener weekend the evening of Saturday, Oct. 31, after volleyball hosts Red Deer College for games Friday and Saturday. Hockey will also be traveling to Camrose to face Augustana.

Basketball

The Briercrest basketball teams are excited to begin their 2015-16 regular season this weekend as they host Medicine Hat College for the Alumni Home Opener weekend. They will have alumni festivities starting on Friday, before playing Medicine Hat the evening of Saturday, October 31. The women tip-off at 6:00 pm followed by the men at 8:00 pm.

If you can’t make it to the gym, the games will also be streamed online at acac.tv.

Volleyball

The Briercrest volleyball teams return home to the Margaret P. Reimer Memorial Gymnasium for games against Red Deer College. The women open up the weekend Friday, October 30 at 6:00 pm followed by the men at 8:00 pm. They continue their weekend on Saturday with the women at 1:00 pm and the men at 3:00 pm.

The hockey team will be travelling to Camrose to face the University of Alberta -  Augustana Vikings. Face-off is at 7:30 pm on Friday, October 30, followed by a 2:00 pm puck-drop on Saturday, October 31.
