The Briercrest volleyball teams return to Caronport to host Lethbridge College this weekend, while the basketball teams travel to Calgary for a pair of games and hockey has an exhibition game in Williston.

Volleyball

The Briercrest volleyball teams will be returning to Caronport for their final home weekend of the first semester of the ACAC schedule as they host Lethbridge College for Friday and Saturday games. The Briercrest women (6-2), who remain ranked number one in Canada, will be hosting a 3-3 Lethbridge team that is currently tied for fourth in the ACAC south. The Briercrest men face a Lethbridge team (4-2) that sits in the fourth and final playoff spot in the ACAC south, so games this weekend are very important as both teams try to set themselves up for success in the second semester. The women open up the weekend Friday, November 13 at 6:00 pm followed by the men at 8:00 pm. They continue their weekend on Saturday with the women at 1:00 pm and the men at 3:00 pm.

Basketball

The Briercrest basketball teams will be on the road for the second weekend in a row, as they travel to Calgary to face SAIT and St. Mary’s. The women will begin the weekend with a game against a 1-3 SAIT team Friday night before facing ACAC south leading St. Mary’s (5-1) Saturday afternoon. The Briercrest men will be facing a SAIT team (0-4) that will be hungry as they are looking for their first victory of the season, before facing a 2-4 St. Mary’s Saturday afternoon. The women will tip-off against SAIT at 6:00 pm Friday, November 13 followed by the men at 8:00 pm, before ending their weekend at St. Mary’s at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm respectively.

The Briercrest hockey team has a bye week from ACAC competition this weekend, so will be traveling to Williston Friday, November 13 for an exhibition game. Puck drop will be at 7:00 pm.
