The Briercrest Running Club had their last race of the first semester this past weekend.

Running Coach Jennifer Johnson was very pleased with her team’s performance.

“The Running Team braved the cold and ice this Saturday and participated in the Santa Shuffle Race held in Regina on Saturday, December 3,” Johnson explained. “It was at this particular race last year that a Briercrest employee had the inspiration that Briercrest should have a running team! The team raced really well despite the colder and slippery conditions and 6 of the 8 team members who raced achieved a personal best for their 5km overall time. The last of their races for 2016 was a success! As always, the team was welcomed warmly by the running community at the race. The team looks forward to a few more races in the new year before the end of our running season.”
