Students are back!
The halls of Briercrest College and Seminary are pulsing once again with the energy of incoming freshmen. Registration is underway, the dorms are full, and new students everywhere are talking about how excited they are for the year ahead.
Danielle Lester is a Social Sciences student from Winnipeg. She says a friend of hers "got her hooked" on Briercrest after telling her that his time here was "the best year of his life." She’s looking forward to living in the dorm, getting to know her quad-mates in Bergren, and studying the Bible.
Bailey Fox is a Worship Arts student from Sherwood Park, AB. She transferred here from Red Deer College, where she studied theatre. She was thinking about going to Thailand on missions at this time last year, but she found out about Briercrest at Missions Fest: Edmonton, and here she is. She says she’s always wanted to study music, and she can’t wait to be a part of the Christmas Musical.
Jocelyn White is here after spending some time at Ottawa’s Carleton University and Algonquin College. She decided to come to Briercrest a month ago, and she’s excited to be a part of a Christian community. She’s already glad she came. "The people here are all so friendly!" she says.
